Ought to have been sleeping. But having one of those bouts where I feel so tired yet I can't seem to fall asleep. So, I decided to try out this new app I just downloaded onto my iPhone 3GS. It's called BlurFx and it is by far one of the best free iPhone editing apps I used. (well duh, Ifound it as one the app store's top free photography tools, but sometimes those top downloads are liessss :P)
At the app store

Here's the before and after photo!
Edited previously on ps mobile (a Photoshop app on the iPhone, available on the android os as well) for exposure, saturation and contrast.

After BlurFx

It is superb because it was just soo easy to use with such great results. Everything was pretty intuitive and easy to locate. And best of all, you can have a few ongoing projects at the same time! So, you don't have to complete a project to start a new one! And best of all, you can choose what quality you wanna save your picture to, and I saved mine in the highest res possible :D awesome!
Masked so you can see the areas blurred off and the ones I cleaned off. The red areas are the blurred areas.

(1) Basically, I used motion blur on the entire picture (since I decided prior that I wanted a larger area of the picture to be blur). And I totally love the fact you can choose the type of blur!
(2) Then clicking on the clean button on the bottom right, I used my finger and cleaned off areas that I did not want looking fuzzy. (I could tweak the brush size tailoring to the size of area i wanted to edit, alternatively, i could set it to auto, and check progress with mask. but, I wasn't very fussy, so I just anyhow whack. Which did turn out looking okay, but you can tell immediately when the mask is on that it was done pretty messily. Mask is a v good feature ESP if you were the perfectionist sort or had a background that had a lot more details than my white toilet doors)
(3) Finally, I tweaked the saturation up, cos I was looking a little pale, and also upped the lightness a little to make use of the areas surrounding, as well as myself look more glowy.
(4) I tried templates and vignetting but the effects weren't what I really wanted from the picture since I liked it all glowy and white. But here are some screenshots anyway.

Then Clicked into the menu, and clicked on settings.
Here I could decide on the resolution I want to save my photos to! I decided on the highest res.

Finally, the plus point of this program, and most good photo apps for that matter, is that it allows you to upload your picture on the more popularly used social networking websites like facebook, twitter and flickr. You just have to login, and then upload straightaway. My only qualm is that it doesn't allow you to upload straight to photobucket!
I decided to just save it to my photo album instead. :D and saving it at highest res didn't take that long. Its probably a little faster than uploading a photo on fb using the iPhone. Possibly also because I didn't do any heavy editing.
I think this app is worth a space in your iPhone. It's simple to navigate and use, and the outcome is damn awesome.
Okay. Left 6% of batt life, shall watch kitten vids until phone dies or I fall asleep. :( 3am. This sucks.
